Check out our cute little blob!

Here are the 3D sonogram pics we had taken of our second baby girl a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, they're blurry and mushy, but it's the best we could get. Hopefully the second baby girl Nguyen will be here within the next two months. I'll be 31 weeks on Wednesday. I also attached a belly pic taken the other night. I didn't take any with Ellie, so enjoy this one! :)

Ellie's 18 Month Pics

Yeah, so I know Eliza will actually be 20 months old this Friday, but I am a little scatterbrained and sidetracked these days so I am just now posting her 18 month pictures. Sometimes she's a little TOO cute for her own good (just a mother's biased opinion)...

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Last night, after a wonderful dinner at the Nixon's home, we went out to Russell Creek Park to fly kites. We had a lot of fun and stayed right up until the rain came (notice the threatening thunderheads in the background). It was Ellie's first time to fly a kite and she really enjoyed it! Thanks for the great idea, Jamie (and for being our impromptu photographer)! And thanks Melinda for a yummy dinner! :)

Just in case you hadn't heard...

...baby #2 is a GIRL! We're very excited that Ellie will have a sister! All is well with the pregnancy. Can't believe I'm already 21 weeks along. She's kicking all the time now, especially when it's time for bed.

Walt Disney World!

At the very end of May, Rich, Ellie, Grandma Nguyen, Aunt Tami, and cousin Margaret went on a whirlwind weekend vacation to Walt Disney World. Here we are at the Magic Kingdom:

We were lucky to be at WDW on one of the four Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I didn't include the MANY pictures Rich took of the parade of characters.

We went to Epcot (very quickly) and got to see a few things, but hopefully will be able to go back when we have more time and actually DO Epcot. We did go to the Princess Storybook Dining where Ellie met Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, and Snow White. She had lots of fun, but was more interested in her lunch than the princesses.

We had a GREAT time, but I will say that I think Disneyland is much more doable with a small child and that WDW would be better when your kids are teenagers and quite independent.

Happy Day!

Today is Rich and my 6th Anniversary. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I love my husband so much and I can honestly say that I am married to my best friend. Happy Anniversary sweetheart! I love you!

Also, today is my sister Suzanne's 24th birthday. She is celebrating her first birthday on her mission in Stockholm, Sweden. She is a wonderful sister and aunt to Eliza and we miss and love her so much! Happy birthday Suz!

Catch Up

I haven't really posted in a while so I just wanted to do a quick catch-up. On May 7, we went up to Chris Hall's firefighter family night in McKinney. Here is a quick shot of Ellie in front of the fire truck before my camera battery died. Congrats Chris! We are so proud of you!

On Mother's Day, the Taylor's invited us over for lunch after church. We had a delicious meal and needless to say, it was a wonderful Mother's Day and I didn't even have to cook! Thank you so much Keith and Marti for having us over! Below is a totally funny pic of Ellie on the top shelf of the Taylor's pantry. Keith had a great time perching her high on top of things. Thanks Doug for coming through with the blackberry since I didn't have my camera. Rich and Ellie gave me a wonderful present of a spa day complete with pregnancy massage, facial, and pedicure. I am so excited to book my appt.

Rich's birthday was on Friday and we celebrated by going out to Pappasito's the night before (best fajitas ever!) because we were going to drive down to Houston that night for Margaret's college graduation. Rich got tickets to U2's upcoming concert at the new Cowboy's stadium in October for his b-day.

Upon arriving in Houston, we realized that Ellie's shoes didn't quite make it into the car (OOPS!) so we stopped at Target and Babies R Us on the way in to try to find some shoes that would go with her little dress for the graduation. Can you believe that we couldn't find a pair of plain white sandals at either place? So frustrating! The next morning we found a Stride Rite (thank goodness) and got shoes so Ellie could walk around at the graduation and in grandma's backyard. She just loves looking at the fish in the koi pond. I think she actually wanted to dive in a couple of times. Congrats on your college graduation, Margaret! Good luck at med school!

Here are some pics of Ellie that Uncle Hai took wearing the little outfit that he and Aunt Nancy bought for her. I just love her toothy grin. It totally looks like there is gum in her mouth!
