Ellie's Announcement

So, when Richard blogged about our expecting baby #2, we didn't have any pics of the little shirt Ellie wore to tell my parents...so I took some yesterday. Enjoy!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday yesterday. Ellie really enjoyed her basket and her new Easter dress (Thanks Grandma Nguyen)! We can't believe it was a little over a year ago that we blessed our baby girl. She is growing up so fast!

Just a Walk in the Park

Eliza, Sadie, and I went for a walk down to our neighborhood park today where Ellie swung on a swing for the first time. She loved it! It was so cute to watch her hair blow in the wind and hear her cute little laugh as she swung back and forth.

The Cowtown Half Marathon 2009

My best friend Emily and I ran our first "official" half marathon yesterday around the downtown Fort Worth area. I have only been seriously running for about two months and am thrilled at the 13.1 miles of accomplishment. I finished with a chip time of about 2:18 which beat my personal goal of 2:30. I was so glad to be greeted at the finish line by Rich, Ellie, my sis Suzanne, Patti and Tara (Em's mom and sis). It was faster than I have ever run, and I had quite the calf cramp later, but I am so glad I did it! Can't wait for the next one!
